Introduction

Thank you for taking the time to check my Blog out. I am using this to chronicle my journey back to training as a martial artist. I have always looked at the martial arts as a process of bettering one's self both physically and mentally. I am using this blog as a way of being able to look back at the journey I took to reach a goal I will probably never reach. However, it's the journey that is more important than reaching the goal.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Phil and I am 30 years old. A have studied martial arts in one form or another since I was a kid. Nothing too serious, but something that I did on and off. In my late teens I got into Muay Thai and then into BJJ. I did that for a couple of years and then dropped off the map. Mostly due to personal things that I had to take care of. Now I have made the decision to come back and finish what I started.

To me that is the most important thing. I plan to chronicle my journey back into the warrior lifestyle. I do welcome any comments both good and bad, but feel free to leave any constructive criticism.
